Packing

To ensure safe, efficient and hassle-free move, a right packing of the goods is very much required to prevent it from any damages on transit. For right and effective packing of the goods, an experience hand is must to understand the nuances of it in order to make it safe while handling. Therefore we are glad to introduce ourselves as the packers with having 53years of experience in this field which we gained through packing of goods for Local / National / International movements. Our experience has taught us to know exactly what materials and methods should be applied for packing any particular item.

As the follower of Global mandate of maintaining highest of quality in our service, we use those packing materials which are highest in quality as per International Standards. But by using quality material, it doesn’t guarantee to be effective until and unless right person is there to guide and get the job done. For that we appoint an experience Job Manager on the job to ensure effective packing and handling of goods for the journey ahead.

Exceptional cares are taken while packing the following items:

Fragile Items
Every fragile item requires intense care while handling. Therefore by understanding these complications, we have developed a method of wrapping every individual item with proper packing materials and then we pack them into specially made carton boxes marked FRAGILE.The cartons marked FRAGILE are properly handled while loading, unloading and unpacking.
Some such fragile items are: Glassware, Chinaware, Curios, Showpiece, Paintings, Pictures, Statues, Object d’art, Computers, Television, Refrigerator, Micro Oven, Washing Machine, Air Conditioner, Music System, DVD, VCD, VCR etc.

Non-Fragile Items
Usually non fragile items are taken care of normally by using necessary packing materials and suitably packing them into carton boxes, corrugated wrapped packages and gunny stitched packages. These are all properly marked and listed. We pack every single item, however ordinary it may be, before it is loaded. Some of such items are:-

	Wooden furniture, books, toys, clothes, curtains, kitchenware etc.
	Office furniture, stationery, books, files and records.
	Machinery, electrical items, generator, motor etc

Wooden Crates
We usually make tailor-made wooden crates for safe handling of all household appliances such as refrigerators, televisions, cooking ranges, microwave ovens, music system, computer etc. The fragile and highly polished furniture are also packed into crates to protect them from breakages and scratches etc

Inventory & Job Control:

This is a very specialized area where our job managers effectively deal with the situation. CPMC job managers manage a job right from the commencement of the packing to finally unpacking and arrangement. They will prepare the packing list and help in putting values of each items. They will prepare all documents needed to dispatch the truck. Proper inventory check is done prior to loading the packages. Our job managers will be at your service 24 hours a day on their mobile connection. They will also monitor the truck movement. Therefore necessary information and feedback regarding the truck would be available from them. This is a very unique service that is only available with CPMC. Even the best of our competitors do not have them. This is a great difference.

Warehousing:

We have proper warehouse facilities where items for moving like household goods, all types of cars, light and heavy machinery, official gadgets, electronic items, industrial goods and like can be stored with sufficient care and proper storage insurance. Warehousing facilities are available at all our branches. The goods under storage are always covered for all the risks involved. Small and big storage places provided by us are ideally suitable to store personal and household goods. We even store commercial goods.Our storage facilities are clean and secure. We offer both short and long-term storage facilities in different places in India.

Transportation

Transportation is the core part of the entire operation of door-to-door service by road. We have a complete network of trustworthy transporters. For the purpose of transporting goods from one place to the other, we generally use normal trucks, container trucks, and container-trailer trucks, LCV and part load. We strictly believe in direct truck and no transshipment on the route. However we also have a variety of other transportation options tailored to the exact requirement of the client, thus avoiding wastage of space & extra expense involved.
Our Job Managers are there to supervise the loading and unloading operations. While unpacking is being done, these managers ensure that the customers get each and every package in absolutely intact condition. Vehicles are chosen with care and inspected thoroughly before dispatching of goods thus ensuring safe and timely passage of goods to the destination. Reliability and authenticity of the transporter is always checked to avoid problems with the authorities.
All types of cars, big or small, are relocated from anywhere to everywhere. The necessary documents and the authority letter are collected from the owners prior to the dispatch of the cars. No original documents are required. LCVs and LP trucks and car carriers depending on their sizes transport the cars.

Unloading & Delivery

Moving appliances, especially large ones, requires expertise and physical strength. If you are using our service, trained personnel will be provided to ensure that your appliances are safely loaded, transported, and unloaded.
We take full responsibility of your goods till such time that they are unloaded and unpacked at your destination. While in route on the delivery vehicle and on delivery to the destination we take care of the following:-

	Personalized care of the goods
	Constant tracking about the location of the goods
	Liaison with the office concerned
	On the spot troubleshooting
	Supervision on unloading and arranging

Unpacking

After reaching the destination, unloading is done under the constant supervision of the escort thus ensuring the careful handling and safety of the goods. Unpacking and arranging to the client's requirement forms the last but not the least of our operations. We will unpack your boxes, including taking out your belongings and place them on flat surfaces (e.g., floors, bed tops, countertops) as per your instruction and then remove the cartons from your home. All unpacked things are thus properly arranged in your new residence.
After delivery, unpacking and resetting of all your goods, a customer feedback report is given to the client for his remark. This is very important for assessing our performance level vis-à-vis the client’s expectation.
